My name is Busayo Olufemi Akinnola. I became interested in fashion when I was young. While on holiday I visited my sister’s ready-to-wear shop and became inspired by the fabrics and colors. My mother made clothes, so I was exposed to garment construction and had access to sewing machines. My interest grew and by 18 I began sewing. When I came to the USA, I decided to take it further and pursue design.
